Pesticides used
Al-Borg Company selects pesticides that have been approved according to the Egyptian Ministry of Health and the international consumer protection agency. The company first uses mechanical methods to control the insect, and where it is not possible to avoid using pesticides, they are used very carefully, taking into account not contaminating the warehouses or breaking the insects due to any residual effect of the chemical pesticides.
To ensure an insect-free environment
Rely on light traps within production halls, as well as continuously monitor and maintain water collection points, various drainage systems, and waste and garbage collection areas.
Periodic pest control is carried out for each identified pest, based on the insect density in each area, according to the specialized management team. This is done within the first month or as needed.
Staff
Al Borg Service Company adheres to food safety and occupational health and safety requirements in accordance with international ISO standards.
The work team is supervised by an engineer specializing in pest control work and conducts periodic inspections and assessments of pest control sites.
When necessary, a periodic report is prepared to combat flying insects (housefly, kitchen fly, drain fly) and an annual periodic report is submitted on the means of control, the pesticides used, and the corrective and preventive measures.
Training courses are also conducted for workers in the food sector or in the field of pest control and on how to get the means that help in pest control.

Monitoring and evaluating results
Al Borg Company prepares a periodic, monthly or quarterly report according to the nature of the work in the different areas and their locations, describing the general condition of the area before and after the control process, and submits the reports to the facility and the company.
